How to clean your beret
Machine washing is not recommended, hand washing is inadvisable, dry cleaning with trichloroethylene is preferable.
In case of staining, blot with absorbent paper and clean the Basque beret with a soft brush or a natural sponge dampened with slightly soapy lukewarm water, avoiding soaking the beret and the leather edge excessively.
Then, allow the beret to dry at room temperature and finish with a gentle brushing.
How to brush and dust it
Felted merino wool is a material with exceptional qualities; however, it easily attracts dust, textile fibers, and animal hair. We therefore recommend using an adhesive fabric brush.
