A newcomer... the Urban Helmet

A new product is making its way into the hat market! Indeed, Stetson and Abus, two specialists in their respective fields, have partnered for the occasion to bring to light a new promising product: the Urban Helmet.

Stetson

Stetson is a hat brand that became famous for its cowboy hats: often made of felt with wide brims to protect the wearer from the sun. Since then, Stetson has become one of the essential references in the hat industry.

Abus

Abus is a company specialized in manufacturing locks. They later diversified into security with bike/motorcycle/boat locks, smoke detectors, locks... Since its creation, it has become a market leader.

A common goal

Combining beauty and safety, this is the challenge taken up by both companies, which resulted in the design of this product. This helmet therefore strictly complies with current safety standards. Indeed, the Dayton Cycling Helmet is made of 100% polystyrene and meets various standards such as:

- EN 1078 - standard for bicycle helmets, skateboard and roller skate users

To sum up, it's the "Deutsche Qualität". Stetson then took over the helmet design from this stage, to give it this unique and very trendy look. The brand used a blue striped fabric covering (made of 84% linen and 16% silk) to cover the helmet and add its personal touches, which give it a certain prestige. You can appreciate the leather parts on the straps as well as the foam placed inside to ensure maximum comfort for the user.
