Felt hat and size - How to choose it?

 Here's a short list of the main tips to keep in mind for future felt hat buyers: 

When you hesitate between two sizes, preferably choose the larger one. You can always adjust it later, for example by inserting a lining inside the headband to help the hat fit more comfortably (cork band or head reducer).

A hat that is too tight will never be comfortable to wear.

When the hat is new, it may seem a bit stiff. However, with a leather hat band, it will start to mold to the shape of your head.

To wear the hat comfortably, push all hair away from the forehead and place the front of the hat on the head: then, placing the palm of your hand on the back of the crown, push the hat down. The hat should fit snugly on the head.
