Panama hat woven artisanally by hand, the straw comes exclusively from Ecuador, the result of long sun-drying of the youngest leaves of the Carludivia Palmita. It is this straw alone that gives it this incomparable shape, elasticity, and distinction.
Since 1881, the quality and extreme care taken in its manufacture have made it the most famous hat in the world.
Light as a wisp of air, it does not fear the sun.
But be careful not to leave it behind on a car's rear shelf, as in this case, it will break.

Attention for folding the panama, it is advised to place your panama in a humid place (a cigar humidor is ideal) to keep it in good condition.
Tips for using the panama hat
- With this type of hat, you should avoid it coming into contact with rain. Indeed, as the straw is very absorbent, once dry, it may show stains and weaken the hat.
- Avoid leaving the hat for too long in a hot, dry place without ventilation, as a straw hat needs some humidity to stay in good condition. Otherwise, the straw can become brittle.
- Avoid at all costs PINCHING the top of the hat when putting it on or taking it off. Use the appropriate gesture to handle it: hold it by the brim when putting it on or taking it off.
