Panama hat handwoven artisanally, the straw comes exclusively from Ecuador, resulting from the long sun-drying process of the youngest Carludivia Palmita palm fronds. It is this unique straw that provides its incomparable structure, elasticity, and distinction.
Since 1881, the extreme quality and care taken in its manufacturing have made it the most famous hat in the world.

Important for folding the panama, it is recommended to keep your panama in a humid place (a cigar humidor is ideal) to maintain it in good condition.
Panama hat care instructions
- With this type of hat, you should avoid any contact with rain. Indeed, since straw is very absorbent, once dry, it can show stains and weaken the hat.
- Avoid keeping the hat for too long in a hot, dry, and unventilated place, as a straw hat needs some moisture to stay in good condition. Otherwise, the straw can become brittle.
- Never PINCH the top of the hat when putting it on or taking it off. Use the appropriate gesture to handle it: hold it by the brim when putting it on or taking it off.
