The Fléchet brand: French and Trendy!

A family story

It was in 1859 that Gabriel Fléchet created his company of the same name in Chazelles-sur-Lyon. This is how his business of hats manufactured in France began. At that time, Chazelles-sur-Lyon was the hub of French hat manufacturing, so the Fléchet brand had its rightful place there. Its specialty was crafting high-end hats made of rabbit fur felt.

The family business experienced such growth in 1902, both nationally and internationally, that it exported its products to nearly 5 continents! It even nearly doubled its number of employees, going from 350 in 1912 to 600 in 1930. It even opened a showroom within the factory in 1931.

A transformation

Unfortunately, production ceased in 1976. To keep the Fléchet house and its history alive, a museum was created within the former factory, where numerous hats are displayed. Today, it's the Hat Workshop-Museum that is well-known and appreciated for the quality of its exhibitions. Visitors have the chance to tour the former factory premises and discover the different stages of hat making, as well as attend a fashion show featuring hats still manufactured in the workshop.

A revival

In 2017, the company was bought by two young French entrepreneurs, who aim to spread the famous slogan "Chapeaux Fléchet, Chapeaux Parfaits" (Fléchet Hats, Perfect Hats) once again in France and around the world.

Fashionable and trendy collections, always manufactured with respect for craftsmanship and tradition, in workshops in France and Europe. Nothing is overlooked, whether it's the choice of materials, attention to details, or finishes...
