New trends for back to school 2019

The trendy shape for this season: the bucket hat 

You've probably noticed, but the bucket hat has been making headlines again for several seasons now. Practical in both summer and winter, it also suits both men and women, pleasing a wide audience! You'll find the bucket hat made of wool or fleece to keep you warm while adding style.

For this back-to-school season, we advise you to opt for the 80s-90s bucket hat with the visible logo, for a vintage and modern look. For an even more wintery side, we recommend it in faux fur imitation like with the English brand Kangol, for an assured retro and streetwear look!

The colors of the season 

For other shapes, everything is possible. Styles such as the sailor cap, newsboy cap and the beret remain must-haves that you can easily pull out of your wardrobe. The same goes for fedora hats and the wide-brimmed hat in wool felt. As for colors to adopt, forget black (even though we know it's a safe choice) and other more neutral tones. You'll have the option to choose colors in pastel shades that add a touch of color without being too bright, such as pink, blue, or mustard yellow.

Leather or faux leather 

Already present on the catwalks of the previous season's fashion shows, leather hasn't finished surprising us with its rock and chic side. You'll have the choice between genuine leather or imitation, this material can only please you. You can find it on jackets, pants, and of course on your favorite hats. This material also follows the western trend of last season, so you can choose to fully embrace it with a leather hat in cowboy style, matching it with your cowboy boots. Or stay more understated by opting for example, for a beret or a sailor-style cap or newsboy cap, in black or brown leather, easier to wear and match with your winter outfits. You can also opt for models with leather details if you prefer simple but equally trendy accessories.

Denim 

Denim is also making a big comeback, riding the trend of the 80s-90s, with many fashion pieces featuring this vintage material. You'll find it on handbags, in patchwork on pants, jackets, and of course, on your heads. The cap seems to be the most suitable and appreciated shape for this new trend. But you'll still have a choice, with different shapes like the baseball cap, hatteras, brooklyn... The French brand Béton Ciré is also riding this trend, particularly with its revisited Breton miki and bucket hat models, a real favorite! Plus, it's a piece that can be worn in both winter and summer, we love it!

Trendy patterns 

Checkered print

The safe choice that will never let you down! Every year, the checkered print makes its big comeback, in different colors and tones to always surprise us. For this season, we advise you to wear it in dark tones such as brown, taupe, beige, and black with small touches of color like green and red. You can easily pair it with a simple or more sophisticated outfit. But you can be sure to never commit a fashion faux pas with this print.

Animal print 

Already present for several seasons, we never tire of this print. Whether in summer or winter, it's always trendy. We find it practically everywhere, be it on accessories, clothing, and more. For hats, you'll find it in total look, leopard or panther print, or simply with an outer grosgrain in a leopard fabric.
