Wooden hat stretcher, an essential product for enlarging your hat.
Hat and cap stretcher
For storing, enlarging and adjusting your hat. Made of two parts of cedar wood, it is a sturdy and durable model.
To store the hat, place the conical wooden blocks against the leather or fabric band. This will absorb moisture and maintain the proper shape and size of the hat.
If you cannot keep your hat in a dry place, regular use of the stretcher will be beneficial.
The stretcher allows enlargement up to size 64/65 cm, not beyond!
How to enlarge your hat or cap?
- Spray a small amount of water on the inner area of the hat (grosgrain). Both inside and outside.
- Leave it damp for a few minutes and insert the rounded side down into the hat
- Adjust it where there is a good fit. Expand the stretcher a few more turns and let it rest for a while.
- Caution, do not rush or you risk damaging your hat.
- Repeat this process until you achieve the desired fit.

J'ai acheté cet agrandisseur pour un chapeau ''Indiana Jones'' acheté à la boutique Traclet . - L'objet est de très mauvaise qualité (taillé à la hache?) fabriqué en Chine. Constitué de 2 demi-sphère , qui laisse une marque sur le chapeau.Le chapeau étant légèrement conique ,il aurait été plus judicieux que l'agrandisseur soit également conique . - En voulant pulvériser un peu d'eau tiède (avec un pulvérisateur) l'encre du tampon ''traclet'' a coulée sur le chapeau faisant une belle tâche noire ! - Incompréhensible que Traclet puisse vendre ce genre d'article absolument pas adapté . On était habitués à mieux !!!

Bonjour Pouvez vous nous indiquer la reference du chapeau indiana jones que vous avez commandé chez nous car nous ne le retrouvons pas. L'objet est fabriqué aux Etats Unis depuis plus de 20 ans. Pour la forme conique, il ne l'est pas comme le montre les photos. Dans le cas d'un chapeau conique, il aurait fallu prendre un autre agrandisseur. Enfin, pour l'ancre, l'agrandisseur n'est pas fait pour avoir de l'eau car sinon le bois va travailler. Merci de nous contacter afin de trouver une solution. Cordialement Traclet

le produit est " brut de fonderie " . un léger ponçage des arêtes lui aurait donner un aspect plus fini .
