Measure your head circumference - hat size
- To measure your head circumference, measure around your head where the hat would rest, that is at the middle of the forehead and at the level of the bump at the back of the skull (usually 0.5 to 1 cm above the eyebrows and ears).
- Hold the measuring tape or strip comfortably, as you would want your hat to fit (most measurement errors occur by applying the strip too tightly).
- Read the closest size and refer to the diagram below to find your hat size.
- After taking your head measurement, choose the model of women's hat or men's hat, women's cap or men's cap and women's beret or men's beret.
If you don't have a flexible measuring tape, you can use a piece of string or ribbon (non-stretchable).
If your measurement falls between two sizes, we strongly recommend that you choose the larger value. This will make wearing the hat more comfortable.
You can adjust the hat size using a small piece of foam or cork strips (which we can provide) to be placed behind the fabric or leather band.

Larger Sizes - special size
We carry the largest size on the product sheet, you can already discover large size hats available in the large size section. If your hat size is larger than the largest size offered for a specified hat, we can stretch the hat up to a larger size. Moreover, it is possible to make custom hats. For this, please indicate the desired reference with the size.
Regarding enlargement: There is no additional charge for stretching. However, please take into account an extra delay of 2 or 3 days.

Quick tips for finding your head circumference
There is no universally correct fit for a hat. You need to make sure your hat fits as YOU want it to.
It's entirely a matter of personal preference and whatever suits you best.
A tighter fitting hat stays better for active people - think of a festival or a day at the beach, your hat will also sit higher on your head.
A looser hat is more comfortable to wear for long periods (4 hours and more) and will sit lower on your head.
