Some tips on the boater hat
The French boater is made of straw in a traditional way, which gives it a very rigid structure. Moreover, it's a hat that doesn't sink in like a classic hat because its crown is shallow, even if it fits better than an Olney boater which is often just placed on top of the head. Finally, this boater model doesn't have an interior comfort band. The head reducer is therefore essential to make it more comfortable and secure it on the head (not provided with the boater).
