Where does the Beret Manufacture come from

Mr. Denis Guédon, who is the former technical director of BEATEX (Laulhère), decided in 2011 to create the BERET MANUFACTURE following the threat of relocation of the last French beret manufacturer. He dedicates his production to the traditional beret, the beret that protects from the elements while maintaining the qualities of fineness, flexibility, and softness that only a few French manufacturers knew how to produce. "MADE IN FRANCE" should not just be a label! It should be visible, tangible. The symbol of the Beret Manufacture consists of two red bulls on a yellow label.

He designs a range of berets intended for men but, which for some, have very quickly been adopted by their ladies. He also offers the universal beret that can be adjusted to each head or the beret cap. All the berets from the Manufacture are made from the finest merino wool to achieve a "scarf" quality felt with a very fine grain, soft, flexible, and naturally waterproof without any chemical process. This beret does not shrink and does not pill.

Care instructions for the Beret Manufacture Beret

•  Machine or hand washing is not allowed 
•  Dry cleaning gives good results
•  A minor drawback of the beret, especially when it's new and black, is that it very easily attracts dust, textile fibers, and all kinds of hair
•  To get rid of dust, a simple clothes brush is sufficient, but it's not the same for textile fibers or hair, especially if the cat has slept in or on your beret. 

You can also clean your beret with packing tape, dab your beret. The hair will stick to the adhesive and the beret will become like new. No scotch tape. Otherwise, use the palm of your hand moistened with water, then rub the surface of the beret and the hair will gather into a ball and the beret will be clean.
