Hat stretcher, made of cedar wood.

An essential tool for storing or stretching your hat.

Made of sturdy and durable wood, it allows you to stretch hats and caps.

If you cannot keep your hat in a dry place, regular use of the stretcher will be beneficial.

To store the hat

Place the stretcher in the hat
Expand the stretcher to obtain the desired size
Place the 2 wooden parts inside the hat at the label level. They should be parallel to the crease, in the crown of the hat
Tighten the handle to adjust the stretcher to the size of the hat. Your headwear is ready to be stored without being damaged!

Repeat the previous steps.
Use a kettle/pot and boil clean water. Reduce the heat to have a steady flow of steam.
Holding the hat stretcher by the handle, pass the steam directly and evenly over the crown.
Turn the screw to achieve the desired size while applying steam. Don't stretch the hat too much at once! 1/4 of the size is enough.
Let the hat dry for about 30 minutes before removing the stretcher. Repeat until the hat is the desired size.
