How to clean your baseball cap

There are several methods to clean and restore the shine of your baseball cap: hand washing, dishwashing or on the delicate cycle of your washing machine.

Here are some tips for cleaning your baseball cap:

• Cleaning the coarse grain: Wet a washcloth or cloth in cold water with a little ammonia or similar product in the headband. Gently rub the coarse grain with the wash cloth, work on perspiration stains. Rinse the headband with clean water and allow to dry.
• Dust Removal: Use a strip of tape to remove lint or pet hair. Wrap the tape around your hand with the sticky side facing out and dab the baseball cap. If there is a layer of dust or dirt covering the cap, spray it with water and then gently wipe the surface of the cap and visor with a cloth. Spray lightly and evenly again. Allow to dry at room temperature.
